Gibson Dunn Adds Labor & Employment Partner Harris Mufson in New York

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Harris M. Mufson has joined the firm’s New York office.  Mufson joins from Proskauer Rose LLP and will continue his practice advising clients on complex employment matters and serve as Co-Chair of Gibson Dunn’s Whistleblower Team.

About Harris Mufson

Mufson’s practice focuses on representing employers in disputes covering a wide range of matters, including discrimination and retaliation, whistleblowing, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, defamation, breach of contract, wage and hour laws, and restrictive covenants. In addition, Mufson counsels clients on compliance with employment-related laws, as well as the development, implementation and enforcement of personnel policies and procedures.  He has also conducted numerous internal investigations regarding sensitive employment matters.

Before joining Gibson Dunn, Mufson was a partner at Proskauer Rose LLP, where he served as co-head of the Whistleblowing & Retaliation Practice Group and the Disability, Accommodations & Leave Management Practice Group.  He is also a founding board member of the Mount Sinai Medical Legal Partnership.

Mufson graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in 2006, where he served as Senior Editor of the Journal of Labor and Employment Law.  He earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003, magna cum laude.
