Gibson Dunn Advised KKR on Investment in Green Mobility Partners to Modernize European Rail

Gibson Dunn advised global investment firm KKR on its strategic investment in Austria-based Green Mobility Partners (GMP), aimed at creating a leading European rail leasing platform.
The partnership will see KKR acquire a majority stake in the business, providing support to scale GMP’s electric locomotive fleet and help advance Europe’s transition towards modern, sustainable rail infrastructure.
The Gibson Dunn corporate team was led by partners Alice Brogi, Dennis Seifarth, and Federico Fruhbeck and included of counsel Luca Bernini and associates Sarah Reder, Simon Stöhlker, Lena Tarrin, and David Lübkemeier.
