Gibson Dunn Appoints Jeffrey Trinklein to Co-Lead the London Office

September 3, 2015

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP has named Jeffrey Trinklein as Co-Partner in Charge of the London office, effective 1 September 2015.

Trinklein succeeds Thomas Budd, who has served in this role since 2008 and will continue his corporate practice as the Co-Chair of the firm’s Global Finance Group.  Labor and employment partner James Cox will continue to serve as Co-Partner in Charge of the London office alongside Trinklein.

“We thank Tom for his strong leadership,” said Ken Doran, Chairman and Managing Partner of Gibson Dunn.  “The office has grown exponentially, and we plan to continue with that momentum.  Over his career, Jeff has worked in several Gibson Dunn offices – both within and outside the U.S.  His deep institutional knowledge and strong leadership will be an asset to the office and the firm.”

“The firm has significantly expanded the London office,” said Trinklein.  “It’s an exciting time to be here, and James and I look forward to seeing this office continue to grow and thrive.”
