Gibson Dunn was recognized in The American Lawyer’s 2014 Global Legal Awards, which honors law offices “that played a substantial role in the most distinguished cross-border work performed between January 1, 2013, and April 14, 2014, across a wide range of disciplines.” There were 36 winners spread among the categories of Global Finance, Global Disputes, Global M&A and Global Citizenship.
Gibson Dunn was recognized in the following categories:
· Global Finance Deal of the Year: Restructuring and Insolvency (Middle East) for the restructuring of Arcapita Bank
· Global Dispute of the Year: U.S. Human Rights Litigation for Chevron v. Donziger
· Global Dispute of the Year: U.S. Financial Litigation for NML v. Argentina
Four grand prizewinners from each category will be announced at the awards dinner on September 15 in New York City.
