Gibson Dunn Named Patent Litigation Firm of the Year by LMG Life Sciences

LMG Life Sciences named Gibson Dunn as the “General Patent Litigation Firm of the Year” at its annual awards ceremony.  In addition, three Gibson Dunn partners were named Litigator of the Year in their respective practices: Century City partner Wayne Barsky was named as the “General Patent Litigator of the Year in California”; New York partner Jane Love was named as the “Hatch-Waxman Litigator of the Year – Branded”; and Washington D.C. partner Mark Perry was named as the “Appellate Litigator of the Year for Intellectual Property.”  Two of the firm’s cases also were recognized: Novartis Pharmaceuticals v. Accord Healthcare was named the “Hatch-Waxman Impact Case of the Year,” and United States v. Arthrex was named as the “Patent Impact Case of the Year.”  The awards were presented on September 22, 2021.

Wayne Barsky focuses on patent litigation for clients in the life science, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries, and has extensive trial and appellate experience in federal courts throughout the country and in matters before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Jane Love is a first-chair litigator who handles high-value patent litigation for pharma and biotech companies including global litigation coordination.  She has extensive experience in Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA litigation.

Mark Perry focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. He is an accomplished appellate lawyer who has briefed and argued many cases in the Supreme Court of the United States.
