At its annual USA Excellence Awards, Chambers and Partners named Gibson Dunn the winner in the Intellectual Property category and New York partner Randy Mastro the winner in the Litigation: Business Trial Lawyers category. The awards "reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months, including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service." Chambers additionally honored Washington, D.C. partner F. Joseph Warin with the Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession Award. Joe was honored as a "true titan of the FCPA and securities enforcement arenas." This year the firm was also shortlisted in the Antitrust, Corporate Crime & Government Investigations, Energy/Projects: Power including Renewables, Labor & Employment, Real Estate, and Securities and Financial Services Regulation team categories. The awards were presented on May 25, 2017.
