In the 2017 edition of Benchmark Litigation, Gibson Dunn was recognized in seven national litigation practice areas and earned the publication’s highest recommendations for the firm’s litigation practices in California, New York, Texas and Washington, D.C. Of the seven national litigation categories, the firm is ranked in Tier 1 in Antitrust, Appellate, General Commercial, Intellectual Property, Securities and White Collar Crime categories and in Tier 2 in Product Liability.
The publication named two partners to its annual "Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America" list: Randy Mastro and Orin Snyder. Partners Andrea Neuman and Caitlin Halligan were named to the "Top 250 Women in Litigation List." Benchmark also named Randy Mastro among the "Top-Ten General Commercial Stars," and partners Ted Boutrous, Ted Olson and Mark Perry among its "Top-Ten Appellate Stars." In addition, the publication named 55 partners as Litigation Stars and Future Stars across the U.S.
