International Financial Law Review named Fajr Capital, Blackstone and Mumtalakat’s acquisition of a minority stake in GEMS as the M&A Deal of the Year at its IFLR 2015 Middle East Awards. Gibson Dunn’s Dubai office represented Blackstone in its investment in consortium with Fajr and Mumtalakat. GEMS Education provides K-12 private education in the Middle East, North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. The award was presented on October 28, 2015.
