The American Lawyer has named Gibson Dunn the winner of the Texas Regional Litigation Department of the Year. The firm was recognized for co-leading the defense of AT&T’s $108 billion acquisition of Time Warner, defending a multibillion-dollar price-fixing class action for BNSF and winning a take-nothing judgment in an $8 billion bet-the-company arbitration for Bechtel and Jacobs Engineering. The award was presented on December 5, 2018.
