Asian Legal Business named Singapore of counsel Grace Chong to its inaugural Singapore Rising Stars 2022 list, which highlights “the next generation of the country’s lawyers who have demonstrated great potential in the industry, while earning wide acclaim from their clients in the process.” The profile was published in the December 2022 issue.
Grace is a former in-house counsel at the Monetary Authority of Singapore and is closely involved in regional regulatory reform initiatives and has led discussions with regulators on behalf of the financial services industry, particularly with regard to digital assets, financial derivatives and ESG. She heads the financial regulatory practice in Singapore which consists of three associates. Her team covers a full range of complex financial regulatory, data privacy, licensing, regulatory investigations, ESG implementation and technology transactions.
