Oil and Gas Investor named Houston partner Hillary Holmes to its 2022 list of the 25 Influential Women in Energy, which “celebrates women who have risen to the top of their professions and achieved outstanding success in the oil and gas industry.” The list was published on March 1, 2022.
Hillary Holmes is Co-Chair of the firm’s Capital Markets practice group. She focuses on capital markets, securities regulation, and corporate governance, primarily in the energy industry. She represents public companies and private companies of all sizes, MLPs, investment banks, management teams, and private equity in all forms of capital raising transactions, including IPOs, registered offerings of debt or equity, private placements, 144A offerings of debt or equity, joint ventures, structured investments, de-SPAC transactions, direct listings, and spin-offs. She regularly advises clients regarding securities laws, SEC reporting, ESG issues and governance matters and frequently counsels boards of directors, special committees and financial advisors in complex M&A transactions, conflicts of interest, and special situations.
