Our Litigation department is seeking an IP Litigation Paralegal to assist our attorneys with a wide variety of tasks and projects. This position will focus on Intellectual Property litigation cases. Working under the supervision of attorneys and more seasoned paralegals, you will have the opportunity to work on high stakes cases with a dynamic legal team. Many cases are heard out-of-state and before the ITC, so in this role, travel may be involved. You will organize case materials, create privilege logs, cite-check, assist with deposition preparation, and participate on other pre-trial tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong paralegal and technical skills, great personal confidence, who is highly organized and communicative.
This role reports to the Paralegal Services Manager.
Responsibilities include:
• Perform various day-to-day case management tasks.
• Draft, prepare, and file Court filings.
• Assist with calendaring case deadlines.
• Assist with document collection, organization, review, and productions.
• Assist with discovery requests.
• Assist with deposition, meeting, or interview preparations.
• Assist with trial and arbitration preparations.
• Ability to travel and attend trial and arbitrations.
• Cite-check references and/or caselaw in briefs.
• Prepare exhibits to court filings.
• Proofread court briefs and discovery documents.
• Prepare various charts and indices.
• Coordinate with external vendors.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
• Flexible and able to multi-task, balancing priorities and tight deadlines
• Proactive and able to handle efficiently handle multiple projects and client matters simultaneously
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Superior analytical and reasoning abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with members across multiple offices
• Willingness to work paid overtime as needed
• 3+ Years of Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
• Experience with Discovery Databases (Relativity, LiveNote, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $85-115k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
