Fahad Ali is an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Mr. Ali earned his law degree summa cum laude in 2021 from the University of California, Irvine, where he was a Research Fellow for Professor Henry Weinstein’s First Year Lawyering Skills course and a Research Assistant to Professor Gregory Shaffer. While in law school, Mr. Ali served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Troy L. Nunley of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and was on the Executive Board for the International Refugee Assistance Project.
Prior to law school, Mr. Ali worked at the California State Auditor’s Office, where he conducted performance audits for the California state legislator, reviewing various state agencies and cities to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and foster efficient use of public funds. Mr. Ali earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Merced, with honors, in 2012.
Mr. Ali is admitted to practice in the State of California.
