Sam Astrich is an associate in the Houston office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  She currently practices in the firm’s Oil and Gas, Energy, Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions practice groups.

Ms. Astrich advises and represents private equity clients and their portfolio companies and management teams in connection with a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (including upstream and midstream transactions), joint venture arrangements, recapitalizations, dispositions and other general corporate matters.

Ms. Astrich received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Tulane University Law School where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as Notes & Comments Editor and Diversity Editor of the Tulane Law Review.  She received a B.S., magna cum laude, in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
