Maria Paula Baraya is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of the firm’s Projects and Infrastructure, Latin America, Global Finance and Power and Renewables Practice Groups.
Ms. Baraya’s practice is focused on infrastructure and energy projects both in the United States and in Latin America. Ms. Baraya has extensive experience successfully representing public and private companies in complex syndicated loans, infrastructure development and project finance.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Ms. Baraya was an international associate at Milbank LLP in New York, and an associate at Phillipi, Prietocarrizosa, Ferrero Du & Uría, in Colombia.
Ms. Baraya received her LL.M. degree from UCLA in 2014. She also received an LL.B. degree from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia in 2009.
Ms. Baraya is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in Colombia.
