Christina Barta De Mott is an associate in Gibson Dunn’s New York office. Her practice focuses on data privacy, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
Christina has significant experience advising leading technology companies, global businesses, technology platforms, and AI developers on compliance with comprehensive privacy and cybersecurity laws and regulations, as well as on high-stakes litigation and investigations by federal agencies, including the FTC. She also advises on the development of AI-related products and services, drafts internal and external AI governance, privacy, and cybersecurity policies, and counsels clients on data breach response management and notification concerns. Her practice spans regulatory compliance, AI governance, and strategic product counseling.
Christina received her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2024, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a member of the Science and Technology Law Review and the Advanced Mediation Clinic. She graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2021 with degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy.
