BIOGRAPHY

Robert Fairbanks is a litigation associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

Mr. Fairbanks graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of Barristers and served as Chair of the Board of Advocates and an Articles Editor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal.  He won the McBaine Honors Moot Court Competition and was awarded the Jamison Prize for Scholarship and Advocacy in addition to numerous trial advocacy awards.  While in law school, Mr. Fairbanks worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Leslie E. Kobayashi of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii and a research assistant for Professor Paul Schwartz.

Mr. Fairbanks received both his B.A., high honors, in History and his M.Ed. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  Prior to law school, Mr. Fairbanks worked as a middle school history teacher.

Mr. Fairbanks is admitted to practice in the State of California.
