Blake J. Hirst is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson Dunn. He currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Blake earned his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2024, where he served as Executive Symposium Editor for the Yale Journal on Regulation. He was also Executive Vice President of the Yale Law School chapter of the Federalist Society. While in law school, Blake served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Brantley Starr of the Northern District of Texas.
Blake graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2021.
Before joining the firm, Blake served as a law clerk to the Honorable Patrick J. Bumatay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Blake is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
