Patrice Oseni is an associate in the New York office of Gibson Dunn and a member of the firm’s Business Restructuring and Reorganization Practice Group. She represents creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders in complex domestic and cross-border restructuring matters, bankruptcy proceedings, financing transactions, and acquisitions.
Patrice earned her Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law, where she served on student government, Moot Court, and Mock Trial. She also served as the Northeast Regional Chair of the National Black Law Students Association. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clarkson University.
Before law school, Patrice worked with private foundations on exempt organization matters. She also worked in middle office operations supporting over-the-counter derivatives trading, specializing in credit default swaps and other structured credit products.
