Litigation Business Restructuring and Reorganization

BIOGRAPHY

Matthieu Rabaud is an associate in the Paris office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and a member of the firm’s  Litigation and Business Restructuring and Reorganization practice groups.

Mr. Rabaud’s dual practice focuses both on dispute resolution and restructuring.

Mr. Rabaud’s experience encompasses general civil or commercial litigation and arbitration matters, either in domestic or cross-border contexts, with an emphasis on post-M&A disputes or distressed situations. He often acts on insolvency proceedings litigation.

Mr. Rabaud is active in the context of domestic or cross-border debts restructuring, where he advises companies of all sizes and sectors, insolvency practitioners, debtors or creditors in connection with pre-insolvency proceedings and insolvency proceedings

Mr. Rabaud joined Gibson Dunn in 2020.

Admitted to the Paris Bar, Mr. Rabaud received a LL.M. (Master of Laws) in General Studies from University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2018. Prior to that, he graduated with a Masters degree in corporate law from University Paris II – Panthéon Assas in 2016.

Mr. Rabaud is fluent in French and English.
