Simone Rivera is an associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Simone earned her J.D. from Yale Law School in 2022. While attending law school, Simone served as an executive articles editor for the Yale Journal of International Law and was an active participant on Yale Law School’s Jessup International Moot Court team. Simone also served as a research assistant for Professor George Priest and as a legal extern in the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut.
Prior to attending law school, Simone graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University in 2017, where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Legal Studies. Simone was awarded departmental honors in legal studies in recognition of her distinguished academic record, and she is a proud member of the Phi Beta Kappa honors society. Simone worked as a trial preparation assistant in the New York County District Attorney’s Office upon graduating from Northwestern.
Simone clerked for the Honorable William F. Kuntz, II in the Eastern District of New York before joining Gibson Dunn as an associate.
Simone is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
