Kiel Sauerman is an associate in the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he currently practices in the firm’s Corporate Department. His practice focuses on corporate and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, securities regulation and corporate governance, and public and private capital markets transactions.
Mr. Sauerman graduated, cum laude, from Cornell University Law School in 2018, receiving the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Patent Law and Advanced Issues in Mediation. He received his B.A. in English Literature from Florida State University in 2007.
Prior to law school, Mr. Sauerman served in the United States Navy for six years as a nuclear reactor operator onboard the USS Ronald Reagan, a nuclear aircraft carrier in the Pacific Fleet.
Mr. Sauerman is admitted to the State Bar of Texas.
