Tamara S. Skinner

Associate Attorney

Tamara Skinner is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson Dunn. She practices in the firm’s Litigation Department and is a member of the firm’s Appellate and Constitutional Law and Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice Groups.

Before joining Gibson Dunn, Tamara served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael B. Brennan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She earned her law degree with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she served as Executive Online Editor of the University of Chicago Law Review and as Events Coordinator for the University of Chicago Federalist Society. 

Prior to law school, Tamara worked for Arizona Governor Doug Ducey as part of his communications team. She graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with an honors degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.

Tamara is a member of the bars of Arizona and the District of Columbia, and she is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
