Caitlin Smith is an associate in the London office of Gibson Dunn and is a member of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions, and Private Equity Practice Groups.
Caitlin has extensive experience in private equity and sponsor-side M&A, acting for financial sponsors, institutional co-investors and portfolio companies on UK, European, US and cross-border transactions.
Caitlin’s experience includes leveraged buyouts, bolt-on acquisitions, sponsor-led exits and portfolio company advisory work, with particular sector exposure in healthcare, technology, media, business services, financial services, shipping / maritime services and medtech.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Caitlin worked in the London office of another major global law firm.
