Gibson Dunn advised 1GT, Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s private climate equity strategy, on a Series E financing round for Amber Electric, an Australian energy flexibility platform that enables customers to optimize how they store and use energy at home. Founded in Melbourne in 2017, Amber is Australia’s largest battery automation provider, with a leading market share of automated batteries. The investment will support Amber’s continued growth and expansion into Europe, following a recent partnership with E.ON, which also participated in the round.
