Tyron Willey is a South Africa admitted attorney and an associate in the London office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s antitrust and competition practice group.
Tyron has experience advising clients on a range of antitrust issues across both the transactional and behavioural spaces. He has advised clients on the merger control and foreign investment and national security aspects of international transactions involving various regulators. In addition, Tyron advises clients on contentious matters involving cartel and abuse of dominance investigations. He has also advised clients on exemption proceedings.
Tyron has advised clients across a diversity of sectors, including industrial processing; mining; metals and beneficiation; digital media platforms; technology; renewable energy; banking; and life sciences.
He has experience in negotiating with industry and government representation on behalf of his clients within antitrust forums, as well as beyond.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Tyron worked in the antitrust practices of leading law firms in London and Johannesburg.
