BIOGRAPHY

Sara D. Williams is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  She currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Ms. Williams earned her law degree in 2020 from the UCLA School of Law, where she was awarded First Place in both the Dean’s Brief Writing Competition and the annual 1L Moot Court Competition. While in law school, Ms. Williams served as Class President, Senior Editor of the UCLA Law Review, and Co-Chair of OUTLaw, UCLA’s LGBT law student organization. Ms. Williams also participated in the UCLA School of Law Supreme Court Clinic.

Ms. Williams graduated cum laude from the University of California, Davis in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, having double majored in History and Political Science. She received departmental awards for both majors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Ms. Williams is a member of the State Bar of California.
