The Animal Legal Defense Fund presented Dallas associate Mandy Pezzano with its 2011 Advancement in Animal Law Pro Bono Achievement Award for her “dedication, expertise and commitment of pro bono hours” in support of ALDF’s mission to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system. Pezzano works with ALDF to identify animal shelters in Texas that are violating state health and safety laws and remedy the conditions.
