Mary Murphy Receives Women of Achievement Award

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP partner Mary Murphy was named a recipient of Legal Momentum’s Ninth Annual Women of Achievement Award, which honors women who have broken through to the top of their field.

Legal Momentum honored Murphy, who serves as Partner-in-Charge of Gibson Dunn’s San Francisco office, for her role as land use counsel to developers in various redevelopment projects around San Francisco.  The organization recognized her for her work on the Presidio Trust Board, which included the landmark $100 million remediation agreement among the Trust, the Department of the Army and the Department of the Interior.

In addition to Murphy, Legal Momentum honored Adriane Brown, President and Chief Operating Officer, Intellectual Ventures; Van Dang, Vice President, Law and Deputy General Counsel, Cisco Systems Inc.; Carrie Dwyer, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Charles Schwab Corporation; Kerry Francis, Partner, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP; Lucy Lee Helm, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, Starbucks; and Laureen Seeger, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, McKesson Corporation.

Legal Momentum honored the recipients at the Ninth Annual Women of Achievement Awards Dinner at the InterContinental San Francisco on March 20, 2014.
