Michael Bopp Named Among the 100 Most Influential People in Finance

Michael Bopp has been named to Treasury and Risk Magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People in Finance, which includes global leaders and “lots of movers and shakers in Washington, reflecting the efforts there surrounding derivatives and money-market fund regulations, the Volcker Rule, convergence with international accounting standards, corporate tax reform and the federal deficit.” Bopp was recognized in the category of Rulemakers and Lobbyists for his “skillful leadership of the coalition of trade associations representing corporate end users of OTC derivatives,” which has allowed the group to “box above its weight in the debate about regulating such derivatives.” The list was published on June 18, 2012.
