Community Leadership

Our lawyers are involved in the community in every region in which the firm has locations. With the efforts of vibrant Community Affairs Committees and dedicated partners and associates in each office, Gibson Dunn supports hundreds of nonprofit organizations through board service, invaluable pro bono work and meaningful financial contributions. To help associates serve on local nonprofit boards, several of our offices have established an Associates Fund comprised of donations from individual partners. Recognizing that there is often a financial commitment required for board and committee participation, the Fund enables associates to serve on boards that they might not otherwise be able to join.

OUR INVOLVEMENT RUNS DEEP

Just as with our firm’s pro bono work, our community involvement reflects the varying interests of our lawyers around the world. By pledging their time to serve these groups, through board service or otherwise, our lawyers forge deep relationships with their communities. In doing so, they connect with and impact the world around them in a profound and meaningful way.
