The National Law Journal recognized New York partner Robert Weigel in its annual “Winning: Top Litigators Tell Their Stories” feature, highlighting five attorneys “who prevailed during 2012 before a bench or jury trial” and “had overcome tough odds and high financial stakes or a principle or precedent was at risk.” Weigel was recognized for his work defending Artémis S.A. and its owner François Pinault in a complex, multi-year litigation stemming from the failure of Executive Life Insurance Co. in 1991.
