The Daily Journal named Los Angeles partners Theodore J. Boutrous Jr., Marcellus McRae and Debra Wong Yang to its annual list of the Top 100 Lawyers in California. Their profiles were published on September 16, 2020.
Theodore J. Boutrous Jr. is Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Group. He has represented clients in the federal and state appellate courts throughout the nation in a wide spectrum of cases. He has argued more than 150 appeals, including before the Supreme Court of the United States, 12 different federal circuit courts of appeals, 10 different state supreme courts and a multitude of other appellate and trial courts in complex civil, constitutional and criminal matters.
Marcellus McRae focuses on a wide variety of business disputes, internal investigations, and criminal prosecutions including defense of individuals and corporations in cases involving allegations of: financial fraud, False Claims Act violations, public corruption, violations of federal and state environmental laws, health care fraud, wrongful death, criminal antitrust violations, and other matters.
Debra Wong Yang is Chair of the Crisis Management Practice Group. Drawing on her depth of experience and record of success, Yang focuses part of her practice on strategic counseling. She leads critical representations, both high profile and highly confidential, involving a wide variety of industries, economic sectors, regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, global jurisdictions and all types of proceedings.
