Washington, DC partners Theodore Olson and Eugene Scalia were named to the National Law Journal’s Champions & Visionaries list for the fifth annual Legal Times Awards. Olson was named to the list of Champions, which included 20 attorneys “who have upheld the profession’s core values through public service, pro bono work and advocacy for civil liberties.” Scalia was one of 20 lawyers named to the Visionaries list, which acknowledged those “whose business foresight or legal acumen has expanded their firms, advanced the law or improved government.” Champions & Visionaries were announced in the July 9, 2012 issue. All honorees will be recognized at an event on September 20, 2012 in Washington, DC.
