Ortiz [PDF], where the firm succeeded in having the Los Angeles Superior Court vacate a $178 million verdict for the client, was named among the 20 cases in the Top Defense Results list.  Rea v. Michaels Stores Inc. [PDF], in which Gibson Dunn obtained reversal of a district court’s decision to remand a wage and hour putative class action to California Superior Court, was featured as one of the five cases in the Top Appellate Reversals list.  The feature was published in the February 18, 2015 issue.
