Munich partner Mark Zimmer is the co-author of “Wettbewerbsverbote in Aktienoptionsplänen ausländischer Konzernmütter” [PDF] published in the June 2022 issue of the German publication Recht der Internationalen Wirtschaft, together with Maryam Neumann. The article focuses on share and other participation programs for employees which often include post-contractual non-competition clauses without compensation. It discusses the effectiveness of such agreements in stock option contracts and, at the same time, is intended to provide an outlook on possible alternatives.
