Gibson Dunn Advised Airbus on Alta Ares Partnership

Gibson Dunn advised Airbus Defence and Space on its strategic partnership with Alta Ares, a France-based company developing AI-powered hardware and agnostic software for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions and counter-drone operations.

The transaction follows Alta Ares’s Series A financing round, backed by the new E2D growth fund dedicated to defence and dual-use technologies, spearheaded by Airbus.


The corporate team advising Airbus was led in London by partner James Cameron and in Paris by Ariel Harroch. The team also included of counsel Clarisse Bouchetemblé and associate Alison Pereira Martins.
