Business Development Coordinator – Litigation

Based in New York, Washington D.C., Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, or Los Angeles, for the select group of litigation practices, the Business Development Coordinator will assist with business development and visibility initiatives and priorities for their assigned practices and lawyers. As part of a team, this role will work closely with the relevant Business Development Manager on initiatives to drive the growth of our business and support the lawyers with their marketing activities. This role will also work closely with the other business development coordinators to provide additional support on team infrastructure and broader department projects as needed.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the development of collateral materials, such as practice group descriptions, attorney biographies, practice area capability statements, and web content.
  • Supporting the creation and formatting of marketing pitches and proposal materials, ensuring content accuracy and consistency.
  • Assisting with profile-raising activities for assigned practices and attorneys, including events, webinars, community involvement, conferences, and professional associations.
  • Providing logistical and administrative support for firm-hosted events.
  • Supporting the execution of sponsorship deliverables and assisting with attorney presentations for speaking engagements.
  • Maintaining and updating pitch tracking, reporting, mailing lists, and other data points within the CRM system.
  • Ensuring organized file maintenance in the Document Management System and updating case information in the Experience Database.
  • Helping compile practice and lawyer submissions for directories and rankings.
  • Assisting with regular reporting on team activities and practice updates.

  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Experience

  • University degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

The annual compensation range for this position is $70-80k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
