Labor and Employment Team Highlighted by National Law Journal After Tenth Consecutive DC Legal Awards Win

Gibson Dunn was highlighted by the National Law Journal [PDF] after receiving the Washington, D.C. Litigation Department of the Year, Specialty Labor and Employment award for the tenth consecutive year at the DC Legal Awards. Partner and Labor and Employment Practice Group Co-Chair Jason Schwartz said the most challenging and satisfying aspect of the team’s litigation work is when they can “help our clients with their most challenging people issues, often in areas where the law is still developing. Helping people you care about solve tough problems in a human way is really satisfying.”

Jason’s most important piece of advice to young lawyers was “Do something you enjoy with people you like, laugh a lot, and don’t take yourself too seriously. And remember we work at Nordstrom—every client should be your #1 priority. This work is about helping the clients, period.”
