Valentina Carrillo Bustamante is an associate in the London office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a member of Gibson Dunn’s Projects and Infrastructure and Latin America Practice Groups.
Her practice focuses on infrastructure projects in Latin America and the United States. Valentina has substantial experience in corporate and project finance transactions, including, among others, commercial bank loans, syndicated loans, financing's with multilateral institutions, financing's with export credit agencies and financing's through capital markets.
Valentina’s project finance experience includes toll road projects, ports, airports, power generation facilities, telecommunications infrastructure and, in general, public infrastructure developed under PPP programs. She also has experience in general corporate and strategic transactions, including joint ventures and cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining the London office of Gibson Dunn, Valentina was an international associate in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, and an associate at Gomez-Pinzón Asociados in Bogota, Colombia.
Valentina received her LL.M. degree from Northwestern University. She is admitted to practice in Colombia.

- Representation of Abertis Infraestructuras, S.A. (Abertis) in connection with $3.3B investment to upgrade, operate and maintain a portfolio of four toll roads in Puerto Rico. - Representation of Ferrovial Agroman US Corp in connection with their bid for and financing of a design-build project for the I-285 and I-20 West Interchange Project in Georgia.
