For nearly three decades, Gibson Dunn has maintained a leading Projects and Infrastructure Practice Group, with experience in more than 60 countries and an in-depth knowledge of the industrial, commercial, financial and political issues that are inherent in the development, financing, construction and operation of major domestic and international projects and infrastructure facilities. The group has been widely recognized among the top project finance and public-private partnership (PPP) practices worldwide.

Our team has been involved in the procurement, development and financing of major infrastructure projects, including toll roads, airports, ports, pipelines, water and waste-water projects, stadiums, parking facilities and other public use facilities. We represent sponsors and developers, governments and public agencies, contractors, commercial and investment banks, institutional investors and equipment suppliers in connection with all aspects of project development, including:

The Projects and Infrastructure Practice Group is an integrated part of the firm’s Global Finance group, representing leading domestic and foreign financial institutions and borrowers/issuers in all types of debt financing and equity transactions, including taxable and tax-exempt debt issuances, private placements, Rule 144A offerings, equity placements, leveraged financing and nonrecourse term debt. The group draws on the skills and proficiency of Gibson Dunn’s other first-tier practices, including the Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisitions, Environmental, Land Use and Development, Business Restructuring and Reorganization, and Tax groups. Our group also has extensive experience in U.S. federal and state regulatory matters of all types.
