Mitasha Chandok is an experienced corporate associate in the London office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a member of the firm’s Oil and Gas, Energy and Infrastructure, Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity practice groups.
Mitasha’s experience includes mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and project development and she routinely advises clients in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors.
Mitasha has worked in mature and emerging markets (nearly 50 jurisdictions) and has advised extensively across Africa on a number of transactions and projects (including first entries).
Mitasha is recognised by Legal 500 UK 2021 as a ‘Rising Star’ for Projects Energy and Natural Resources: Oil & Gas, she is mentioned specifically for joint ventures and project development.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Mitasha trained and practised in the London office of a major international law firm, where she completed secondments to the firm’s Hong Kong office and to the London office of Tullow Oil plc, where she advised on the development of the crude oil export pipeline in Kenya.
Mitasha graduated from the National Law School of India University with a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.). She served as a law clerk to Justice R.V. Raveendran of the Supreme Court of India in 2007.
