BIOGRAPHY

Colleen Devine is an associate attorney in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

Ms. Devine’s practice focuses on foreign judgment and international arbitration award enforcement, transnational litigation, and arbitration.  Ms. Devine also maintains a pro bono practice advising clients on matters of asylum and international human rights law.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Devine served as a UNHR Fellow at the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Geneva, Switzerland participating in the Universal Periodic Review process and the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Ms. Devine received her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as the Managing Online Content Editor for the Michigan Journal of International Law and as an International Law and Development Fellow at the Law Reform and Development Commission, a division of the Namibian Ministry of Justice.  She received her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan.

Ms. Devine is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in both the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
