Rebecca H. Dorfan

Rebecca H. Dorfan is of counsel in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Hiring Committee.

Rebecca has experience in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, co-investments, financings and the formation of joint ventures for real estate investments.

She received her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 2014, where she served as an articles editor on the Michigan Business & Entrepreneurial Law Review. Prior to law school, Rebecca interned at the United States Securities & Exchange Commission in the Division of Corporation Finance and in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. She graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2010 with highest distinction and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Rebecca is admitted to practice in the State of New York.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, she was an associate in the Real Estate Investments & Transactions Group of Ropes & Gray in New York.
