Lucy Urwin is an associate in the London office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a member of the firm’s Tax practice group.
Lucy advises clients on a broad range of UK and cross-border corporate tax issues. In particular, Lucy has extensive experience advising large multinational groups on a variety of complex tax matters, including the efficient structuring of demergers and group reorganisations.
Lucy writes regularly on tax policy and its development – in particular tax transparency and responsible tax as an ESG item for companies, funds and investors.
Lucy read Philosophy and Law at the University of Cambridge before completing the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. Lucy is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
Prior to joining Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, Lucy was a senior associate in the Tax practice group of another international law firm.
