Roscoe Jones, Jr. Appointed to Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law Executive Committee

Washington, D.C. partner Roscoe Jones, Jr. was appointed to the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law Executive Committee and will serve as Board Secretary. The Lawyers’ Committee uses legal advocacy to achieve racial justice, fighting inside and outside the courts to ensure that Black people and other people of color have the voice, opportunity, and power to make the promises of our democracy real. The announcement was made on September 8, 2022.

Roscoe Jones, Jr. is Co-Chair of the firm’s Public Policy Practice Group. He has almost a decade of Capitol Hill experience advising three U.S. Senators and a member of Congress and political experience in the executive branch. Drawing upon that experience, his practice focuses on promoting and protecting clients’ interests before the U.S. Congress and the Administration, including providing a range of public policy services to clients such as strategic counseling, advocacy, coalition building, political intelligence gathering, substantive policy expertise, legislative drafting, and message development.
