Washington, D.C. partner Roscoe Jones, Jr. was elected chairman of the American Constitution Society Board of Directors, which is a non-profit, non-partisan legal organization with the mission “to support and advocate for laws and legal systems that strengthen our democratic legitimacy, uphold the rule of law, and redress the founding failures of our Constitution and enduring inequities in our laws in pursuit of realized equality.” The election was announced on December 1, 2023.
Roscoe Jones, Co-Chair of Gibson Dunn’s Public Policy Practice Group, represents clients in legislative and policy matters before the U.S. Congress and Executive Branch. He has a decade of Capitol Hill experience advising three U.S. Senators and a Member of Congress as chief of staff, legislative director, chief counsel, and senior counsel and advising an Assistant Attorney General in the Justice Department. Leveraging that experience, he promotes and protects clients’ interests before the U.S. Congress and the Administration, providing services including lobbying, strategic counseling, coalition building, political intelligence collection, legislative drafting, and messaging development.
