IFLR named Gibson Dunn as the Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year at its annual Middle East Awards. Gibson Dunn founded and has coordinated a free, non-denominational advice clinic in Dubai. The clinic was the first of its kind that is open to all-comers in the region. Volunteer lawyers advise on questions relating to immigration, financial issues, labour and employment, landlord/tenant and others. The clinic has expanded since its inception and now includes practical advice for job seekers as well as some basic on-site medical care. The award was presented on October 15, 2014.
