The Daily Journal named Los Angeles partner Amy Forbes and San Francisco partner Mary Murphy to its list of California’s Top 50 Development Lawyers, which features “top attorneys whose work in the development arena significantly impacted projects that are helping to shape the transformation of cities.” Forbes was recognized for her work on behalf of Madison Square Garden in its acquisition and renovation of the Forum in Inglewood, among other projects.

The annual list features 20 law firms considered the “most well-rounded of their Am Law 100 peers … they not only delivered strong financial performance but also sustained a top-notch firm culture. In short, the total package.” The A-List is based on four factors: revenue per lawyer, pro bono, diversity and associate satisfaction. According to The American Lawyer, “Gibson Dunn’s 25-point improvement over last year, when it ranked fifth, was propelled by increases in its pro bono and diversity scores.” The A-List is published in the July 2014 issue.
