Zach Carstens is a litigation associate in the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He currently practices with the firm’s Appellate and Constitutional Law and Litigation Practice Groups. He previously served as a law clerk for Justice Jeffrey S. Boyd of the Texas Supreme Court and Judge Brantley Starr of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Zach graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2021, where he served as Editor in Chief of the Pepperdine Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Abilene Christian University in 2016, where he studied English and Biblical Text. Zach is a member of the Texas bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
